Rite-Solutions, Inc., a growing and innovative CMMI Level 3 software and systems engineering company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to support the development, configuration, and sustainment of various enterprise business software projects. This is position is available in a remote capacity but requires driving distance to Washington, DC for occasional on-site meetings.

Position Description

This position requires an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in software project management and Agile methodologies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, direct engagement with the customer to understand requirements and ensure alignment, planning and facilitating team and stakeholder meetings, tracking and managing task progress, and developing and maintaining project documentation and reporting. The role also involves providing support and guidance to multiple direct reports on both career development and task execution. This is a fully remote position, with optional access to office space based on location.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Project Management experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field, or demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Support and guide a self-organizing Agile Scrum team as a servant leader, engaging fully in all Scrum ceremonies.
• Create and track tasking based on customer requests in Jira platform
• Write and peer review implementation designs and requirements based on customer requests
• Determine, track, and analyze metrics for the project to be reported internally and externally, along with plans of actions based on the findings
• Write, review, and maintain team project deliverables and guidance documentation for use internally and externally
• Support hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members
• Responsible for career guidance, and performance reviews for a team of 5-10 direct reports
• Self-directed with ability to independently prioritize own work and that of a team to complete required tasking
• Responsive and responsible communication through technology with remote teammates and clients
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, open, and honest atmosphere within the team and the larger company with empathy and patience
• Clear and concise written and verbal skills
• Position requires U.S. Citizenship and active Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) with the U.S. government

Skills of Interest

• Agile Scrum Master Certification
• PMP Certification
• Experience with project management and testing tools such as Teams, Outlook, Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, SharePoint, and Power BI
• Experience with career growth and employee management at a supervisor level
• Identifying and creating reports for metric analysis and process improvement
• Knowledge and experience with CMMI software development practices and procedures at Level 3 or greater
• Familiarity with agile and/or scrum software development life cycle (SDLC) approaches
