Job Title: Project Manager – M&A Integrations

Location: Southfield, MI

Reports to: Senior Director of Technology

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the integration of newly acquired companies into our growing Material Handling business. This role covers both IT projects, such as ERP migrations, and business operations projects like payroll transitions, regulatory updates, and rebranding.

The right candidate will be organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple acquisitions at once, each with several active workstreams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys bringing structure to complex, fast-moving projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end integration of newly acquired companies.
  • Develop project plans, track deliverables, and coordinate across multiple functions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, acquired companies, and external partners.
    • Coordinate ERP migrations from legacy platforms to company-standard systems, in collaboration with ERP team.
    • Coordinate data migration, testing, and user adoption.
    • Support integration of other IT systems (CRM, communications, etc.).
    • Work with HR and payroll teams to transition employees on to company benefits, payroll, and retirement plans.
    • Coordinate timely completion of others’ administrative tasks (DBAs, registrations, licensing, vehicle title transfers).
    • Coordinate rebranding efforts including websites, marketing materials, signage, and customer-facing documentation.
    • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure smooth transitions.
    • Identify risks, resolve issues, and keep leadership informed of progress.
    • Provide clear updates and documentation for stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • B.S/B.A. and at least 3 years of dedicated Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multi-workstream projects, ideally in M&A integrations or company transitions.
  • Ability to handle both technical IT initiatives and business process projects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with the Material Handling industry (forklifts, warehousing systems) is a plus but not required.
  • Certifications (PMP, ITIL, etc.) are not required. We value practical experience and results.
  • Experience with ERP migration projects (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar).
  • Exposure to rebranding or marketing transitions.
