Project Manager
Owen Daniels are exclusively working with a respected manufacturer of bespoke machinery and precision-engineered components, supplying to a global customer base. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee customer projects from concept through to delivery.
This is a customer-facing, hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong project delivery experience within machinery build, special-purpose equipment, or complex engineered products.
The Role: As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing multiple concurrent projects – ensuring they are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget. You will act as the main point of contact between internal departments and the customer, coordinating design, procurement, production, and installation activities.
Salary: Up too £55,000 p.a. plus excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project delivery for bespoke machinery and engineered systems
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements
Liaise directly with customers to understand specifications and provide regular updates
Coordinate with internal teams including Design, Production, Quality, and Purchasing
Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules – ensuring issues are addressed promptly
Conduct project reviews and produce status reports for both internal and external stakeholders
Oversee change control and risk management processes
Ensure all technical documentation, testing, and approvals are completed pre-delivery
Support installation and commissioning phases when requiredExperience Required:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in machinery manufacturing, precision engineering, or special-purpose equipment
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and build cycles
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines
Confident dealing with technical stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
Practical knowledge of MS Project or similar project management tools
Formal project management qualifications
