Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a large-scale export control classification research project. This individual will serve as the project lead, ensuring the team remains accountable, work progresses as planned, and deliverables are met on schedule. While direct export control experience is not required, trade compliance knowledge is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project lead overseeing classification and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure timely execution of daily tasks and deliverables.
• Delegate assignments effectively and hold team members accountable.
• Drive collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders to collect and validate ECCN data.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure information is entered into the system of record.
• Monitor progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management experience in financial services, risk management, or a corporate environment.
• PMP certification (with demonstrated application in professional settings).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to influence and motivate team members to drive work forward.
• Detail-oriented with excellent research and documentation skills.
• Prior experience in trade compliance or export control (, not required).
