Project Manager (Minor Civils / Highways) – Permanent Based in Basingstoke (RG21 5PL) , covering projects across Hampshire & the South of England £60,000–£70,000 Car Allowance or Company Van Benefits This is a great opportunity to join one of the South East’s leading SME contractors. With a full order book and exciting expansion plans, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to help build our highways and minor civils capability. If you’re enthusiastic, committed, and have a track record of delivering successful projects, we want to hear from you. What you’ll be doing Lead highways & minor civils projects from award through to completion Take ownership of programme delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and budget targets are met Act as the face of B&M McHugh on site, building excellent client relationships Support tendering & bidding for new projects and frameworks Contribute to developing and growing our project management capability What we’re looking for 5 years’ experience in highways or civils, with at least 2 years in a project lead role Proven track record of delivering projects successfully Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent) CSCS, SMSTS Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills Willingness to travel across Southern England What’s on offer £60,000–£70,000 salary Car allowance or company van 28 days holiday pension Flexible working arrangements Professional growth & development opportunities Volunteering days off The chance to make a big impact in a growing team This role would suit an established Project Manager or an experienced Site Agent ready to step up.
