The Project Manager for Commercial Construction will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role requires a strong understanding of commercial construction processes, including ground-up projects, and the ability to coordinate various stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
