Position: Project Manager (Contract)

Project: Trowbridge Integrated Health

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire (BA14 9EN)

Start Date: 2 weeks (early September 2025)

Contract Duration: Until February 2026


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £10m healthcare project in Trowbridge. The current PM is moving on to a permanent role, so this position requires someone who can step in quickly, take ownership, and ensure seamless project continuation through to completion.

This is a key client-facing role, requiring a Project Manager with proven experience in healthcare construction and the ability to manage complex builds with significant M&E integration.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of the Trowbridge Integrated Health project (£10m value).
  • Oversee the programme, ensuring delivery to time, quality, and budget.
  • Manage subcontractors and supply chain, driving performance and accountability.
  • Liaise with client representatives and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the project.
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.
  • Manage design coordination and resolve technical/construction issues.
  • Maintain strong financial control, ensuring cost and margin targets are achieved.


Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record as a Project Manager within the healthcare sector (essential).
  • Experience delivering projects in the £5m–£20m range.
  • Background in Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, RC Frame, Steel Frame, and complex M&E systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage risk, resolve challenges, and deliver successful outcomes.


Qualifications

  • CSCS (Black or White Card).
  • SMSTS & First Aid at Work (up to date or able to refresh quickly).
  • NEBOSH / IOSH qualifications desirable.
  • Strong IT skills including Asta Power project and MS Office.
