Project Manager

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCertified Project Management Professional (PMP), Bachelors Degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.
Experience:
7+ years of project management experience. Experience managing large-scale software implementation projects. Experience managing multiple projects or programs, Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions. Experience documenting technical and business requirement specifications.
Additional desired skills:
o Ability to act as the primary Project Manager for the Transparency Tool project. Works with the PMO Manager to determine and distribute assignments.
o Possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
o Understands complex web-based computer applications and has the ability to guide programming staff through projects.
o Ability to document business and technical requirements and processes that can be understood and used by other technical staff.
o Strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assignments.
