Job Advert: Project Manager – Commercial Groundworks

Location: Southall, London

Duration: Until February 2026

Contract Type: Freelance / Temporary

Rate: Competitive (DOE)

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a commercial groundworks project in Southall. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with strong site and subcontractor management skills, looking to hit the ground running on a fast-paced job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations on a busy groundworks site
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and direct labour
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Liaise with the client, consultants, and internal teams
• Maintain HSEQ compliance and site documentation
• Drive progress on-site and resolve issues proactively

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing commercial groundworks projects
• Strong knowledge of groundworks including drainage, foundations, and concrete works
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White card), and First Aid certification
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tight programmes
