Project Manager

Project Manager Sheffield (2 days a week in the office) £350 a day Outside IR35 3 months work We’re partnered with an engineering & infrastructure technology company that is constantly winning new projects in various sectors. This company has multi-disciplinary expertise and are at the forefront of innovation – they even have some patented technology. This company works across utilities, construction, entertainment venues, communications, manufacturing and more. We’re after an experienced project manager who has experience in managing multiple projects at once. This role would suit an engineering bias PM who is looking for their next contract and manage some interesting projects to completion. Mechanical engineering being ideal as most of the work is around design and development of mechanical systems but if you have some kind of electrical knowledge as well, then all the better. You’ll need to be proactive in this role and anticipate any upcoming issues and pivot quickly. While these don’t have a specific methodology that they require quals in, any experience or knowledge of critical chain project management will be a bonus. As mentioned, we’re not expecting someone to have formal experience with this new methodology as this company are just in the early stage of adopting it themselves. Exposure to Monday.com would be a big bonus as that is the software they use to plan and track the projects. This is a remote driven role, but office presence will be required in Sheffield 2/3 days a week.
