Role: Project Manager - FM Lifecycle (Healthcare)\n\nLocation: Cambridgeshire\n\nSalary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum (depending on experience)\n\nType: Full-time, Permanent\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nOur client, a leading construction and facilities management company, are recruiting a Project Manager with experience delivering FM lifecycle or capital projects in healthcare or hospital settings.\n\nBased on a large healthcare site, this is a key role within the FM team, responsible for managing a portfolio of projects under a PFI contract. The role offers the chance to work on a wide range of essential works within a live hospital environment, from plant room upgrades to ward refurbishments, with both capital and lifecycle elements.\n\nYou'll be reporting directly to the Head of FM, working alongside a well-established FM and commercial team, and coordinating with external stakeholders including Progress Health and the NHS Trust.\n\nThe Role\n\nOversee the delivery of FM lifecycle projects in a live hospital environment\nDevelop project scopes, budgets, and delivery plans in line with NHS compliance (HTMs/RIBA)\nLead all aspects of project delivery\nWork closely with engineers, contractors, and Trust stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery\nManage risk, budget control, and forecasting across your project portfolio\nEnsure compliance with quality, H&S, building regulations, and sustainability targets\nBe the main point of contact for stakeholders - including the SPV and the NHS Trust\nChampion a high standard of communication, safety, and delivery on-site\n\nWhat They're Looking For\n\nExperience delivering FM lifecycle projects, in a hospital or healthcare setting\nStrong understanding of compliance, including NHS standards, HTMs, and building control\nBackground in FM, construction, or technical project delivery\nComfortable working on live operational sites (ideally PFI)\nClear communicator and confident dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders\nStrong planning, coordination, and commercial awareness\nProactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach\nEssential Qualifications & Skills\n\nDegree (or equivalent experience) in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field\nFamiliar with project software (MS Project, Aconex, etc.)\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills\nEnhanced DBS clearance required (or willingness to obtain)\nIdeally with a technical or M&E background, but not essential\n\nInterested?\n\nIf you're an experienced PM from a healthcare or facilities management background , please send your CV to (url removed)
