About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with at least 3 years of direct experience managing construction projects in road building, bridge construction, site development, or vertical builds. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with strong sequencing abilities, excellent written communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning. This is not a foreman-to-PM transition role—we are looking for someone with true, hands-on project management experience from project planning through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, sequencing activities for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Write and review RFI's, change orders, subcontractor agreements, daily reports, and closeout documentation.
  • Conduct project kickoff meetings, progress updates, and post-construction reviews.
  • Lead procurement efforts and coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor field activities and proactively resolve conflicts, delays, and safety issues.
  • Maintain organized records, track project costs, and manage forecasting tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, self-teach industry tools, and implement new technologies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a Project Manager in road, bridge, parking lot, sitework, or vertical construction.
  • Strong written communication skills: able to draft professional correspondence, technical documents, and reports. This is a critical skill for this position
  • Excellent sequencing and scheduling skills; familiarity with construction based software
  • Proven ability to work independently and self-teach unfamiliar systems or concepts.
  • High school diploma or GED required. College degree not necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • OSHA 30 or similar safety certification .
