About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in large apartment buildings, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to oversee complex construction schedules while driving performance and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of multifamily construction projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution
- Manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, change orders, buyouts, and closeout documentation
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, architects, engineers, and local jurisdictions
- Collaborate closely with site superintendents to ensure project alignment and progress
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to building codes
- Track project status and provide regular updates to senior leadership
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
- Expertise in multifamily apartment construction, including podium, wrap, and wood-frame Type III/V structures
- Proven ability to manage complex construction projects from groundbreaking through delivery
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
- Solid understanding of California and/or Nevada building codes and permitting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
