Job Summary
Plan, direct, and coordinate a wide variety of architectural millwork projects from the start to finish.
Supervisory Responsibilities
· None
Essential Functions
· Read and analyze architectural drawings.
· Manage the engineering and review of shop drawings.
· Oversee the project scheduling.
· Direct procurement of materials and subcontracts.
· Release projects to production and monitor projects throughout the production process.
· Work closely with contractors, architects, and owners to assure satisfaction of all parties involved.
· Manage all aspects of contracts, both financial and obligatory, from original contract to closeout documents.
Required Skills/Abilities
· Ability to read architectural drawings
· Knowledge of construction/woodworking materials and methods
· Knowledge of Bluebeam software is a plus
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Teams
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Effective organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Minimum two years of experience in construction or woodworking background required
· Combination of education and experience
Physical Requirements
· Regularly requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Occasionally requires visits to a local jobsite or customer office.
· Occasionally requires the use of safety equipment to be worn per the job site requirements such as safety glasses, safety vests, hard hats and/or appropriate footwear.
