Abatec is seeking a Project Manager to join their client, a regional civil engineering contractor on a freelance basis in Devon.\n\nOur client has built its reputation on delivering large, multi-million-pound groundworks projects and requires a Project Manager with experience working on civil engineering and construction sites in a similar position.\n\nAs Project Manager you will:\n\n * Report into the Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues etc.\n\n * Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.\n\n * Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.\n\n * Prepare, check and implement designs on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.\n\nOur client requires a Project Manager with:\n\n * Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.\n\n * A history of managing groundworks and earthworks projects.\n\n * A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.\n\n * Excellent communication skills.\n\n * HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.\n\nSalary/Benefits:\n\n * £375 - £425 CIS\n\nIf you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Matt Hughes on (phone number removed).
