We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds and tenant improvements. This is a pivotal role responsible for the full project lifecycle — from contract administration and procurement to team leadership and closeout. You will serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders and must be equally comfortable navigating complex construction documents and motivating teams to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Lead all administrative and technical aspects of construction projects.

Oversee project setup, contract administration, and document control.

Manage submittals, RFIs, procurement, and material tracking.

Facilitate and lead project meetings, ensuring all action items are tracked and completed.

Review and evaluate owner and subcontractor contracts.

Write and negotiate change orders and subcontract scopes of work.

Supervise project teams and direct reports, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.

Occasionally travel to job sites and client meetings, as required.
Qualifications

7+ years of construction experience, preferably with a general contractor managing ground-up commercial and/or tenant improvement projects from start to finish.

2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role, with proven ability to manage and motivate teams.

Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proficient in Microsoft Project and Procore.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Skilled in subcontractor scope writing, change order negotiation, and owner contract review.

Estimating experience is a plus.

LEED and/or DBIA accreditation is a plus.

Occasional travel may be required.
