Systex, Inc. is a growing Federal Government contractor providing Information Technology (IT) services for the National Institutes of Health for over 40 years. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for Project Manager. The position will be a hybrid of working on-site in Rockville, Maryland and working remotely.
Position incorporates clinical needs and technical requirements to support the clinical research demands of the NIAID and NIH. Will evaluate reporting elements against clinical workflows, identify best practices, provide governance over build decisions, and support communication between the various stakeholders involved. Report to Director and Deputy Director of Clinical Research Systems.
Responsibilities:
· Manage cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs on time, within budget and with quality results.
· Plans, organizes, monitors, oversees, and reports on projects to meet defined requirements or specifications.
· Analyzes risks, establishes contingency plans, identifies trigger events, and plans mitigation activities.
· Controls changes to scope and requirements using standard change management practices.
· Creates reports, presentations, checklists, and other documentation to report on the status of the project.
· Designs and/or conducts analytical studies, cost-benefit analyses, or additional research, as needed.
· Collaborates with various team members from other Institutes and Agencies to advise on multi-institutional projects to assess, design/redesign, and continually improve effectiveness and productivity of clinical research programs.
· Use a variety of data, information resources and tools to assess evolving project requirements and evaluate project performance.
· Foresees and recognizes complex clinical processes and informatics issues, and monitors and measures risks factors. Communicates risks factors to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, or other science/health related fields
· 7+ years of experience in a Clinical Research or Data Management environment with 3 years of project management experience
· Proficient in the use of Project Management software including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Smart Sheets, or equivalent tools.
· Experience with managing virtual teams a must.
· Very strong interpersonal skills required with excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills.
· Familiar with Agile Methodology a plus
