The company: A national Tier 2 contractor with an impressive portfolio that includes projects on the SDF and National Highways frameworks, as well as PFI projects. As they continue to experience substantial growth, this contractor is on the lookout for a talented and dedicated Project Manager to join their family-oriented team.

The Role: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering projects on major highways projects with on behalf of leading Civil Engineering contractors and Local Authorities. You will be managing the installation and commissioning of street lighting, columns, signage, and related infrastructure, with project values of up to £8 million. Your expertise in managing projects under NEC3/4 forms of contract will be invaluable for this role.

Project Leadership: Take charge of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.

  • Site and Office Split: You'll enjoy a dynamic role that combines time spent both in the office and on-site.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a talented and passionate team to bring projects to fruition.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and proactively implement solutions to mitigate them.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project management within the highways street furniture industry.
  • Primavera (P6) Software
  • Proven ability to manage projects with a value of up to £8 million.
  • Proficiency in NEC3/4 forms of contract.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
