Location: Remote (5% travel required) NEW YORK
Employment Type: 1-Year Contract
Pay Rate: $43.27-52.88/hr
Overview
A leading energy organization is seeking a highly skilled Project & Process Improvement Specialist to join their Central Business Services team. This role will support the Team Lead on a variety of projects aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing operations, and improving systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, proven project management expertise, and the ability to identify and implement strategic improvements in alignment with organizational goals.The most IMPORTANT quality is someone who is willing to jump in and do some of the work.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with Central Business Services team members to understand work streams, priorities, and operational needs.

Identify inefficiencies and recommend process and operational improvements to increase effectiveness.

Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives, including workflow analysis, redesign, and implementation.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.

Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices in the organization's Knowledge Base.

Review and analyze data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Collaborate across departments to gather voice-of-customer feedback and determine needs for new or enhanced services.

Provide oversight and support to contractor pools and centralized processes.

Prepare and present reports, presentations, and papers for meetings, seminars, and professional events.

Offer guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns as needed.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field ; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Experience managing projects with minimal supervision, from inception through successful completion.

Proven ability to develop new projects and secure funding sources independently.
Technical Skills
Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Office Suite), Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Asana, Confluence, and JIRA.
