Project Management Associate

The Project Management Associate supports the Project and Construction Managers in the planning and safe execution of transmission line projects. Areas of assistance include safety, fleet administration, purchasing and procurement, payroll, performance tracking, and customer reporting. The role requires a highly versatile candidate that can work collaboratively with customers and union transmission construction personnel.
Essential job functions of the Project Management Associate include:
- Assist Field Safety Manager and Safety Professionals with the administration of the safety program
- Assist Environmental Manager with the administration of the environmental program
- Assist with onboarding of new project personnel
- Coordinate scheduling of work for transmission construction crews and subcontractors
- Assist with the management, tracking, record keeping, and reporting of the equipment as a part of the fleet compliance program
- Purchase tools, equipment, and material at the direction of the Project Manager
- Maintain detailed records of timesheets and purchases of tools, equipment, and project materials
- Track performance of the project and reports progress to management
- Update daily, weekly, and monthly formal project reports for distribution to management and customers
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Strong technology skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Formulas, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work in a highly collaborative cross functional team
- Proven ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and work accurately with a high degree of attention to detail
- A willingness to travel, learn, and be a part of a highly qualified team dedicated to the safe and quality construction of HV and EHV transmission infrastructure
