Our Site Assessment and Remediation Team and Projects

Our team provides comprehensive environmental services, including ASTM site assessments, subsurface investigations, soil gas/vapor intrusion evaluations, and geophysical studies. We specialize in remedial investigations, design, and implementation, along with complex soil and groundwater management projects. Additionally, we manage site remediation and regulatory closure to ensure compliance and long-term sustainability for each project.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a valuable part of our

Site Assessment and Remediation Team , a

Project Environmental Scientist

will support a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience with responsibilities such as

Performing fieldwork activities, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling, drilling oversight, and remediation system monitoring

Conduct site inspections, evaluate environmental conditions, and document findings

Assist in analyzing and interpreting environmental data to assess contamination levels and trends

Prepare technical reports, including environmental site assessment reports, work plans, and remedial action plans

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations

Coordinate with subcontractors, laboratories, and regulatory agencies as needed

Maintain detailed field notes and complete documentation in accordance with project requirements

Adhere to health and safety protocols, including OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training requirements

Travel to project sites as necessary to conduct field assessments and monitor remediation activities

Participate in the emergency response on-call rotation for power utility companies

What You’ll Need

Have at least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or Engineering

Maintain an active OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification

Carry a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record

Work effectively and maintain strong relationships with teams and clients to meet project goals

Adapt strategies and approaches based on evolving group and client needs

Ensure accuracy in analysis, reporting, and documentation

Present ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

Technical writing experience specifically with Massachusetts Contingency Plan report preparation

Experience in performing field work and date analysis
