Location: Washington or Oregon

NV5 is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing Site Assessment & Remediation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, supporting private and public sector clients in real estate development, construction, and remediation.

Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

Prepare technical reports and develop cost estimates.

Conduct site assessment, remediation, hydrogeology, and environmental risk management services.

Perform Vapor Intrusion Mitigation System evaluations.

Lead field investigations, including:

Soil and groundwater sampling

Groundwater flow and hydrogeological data analysis

Contaminant fate and transport evaluation

Well installation and aquifer testing.

Groundwater and soil remediation evaluations

Environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance

Permit acquisition support.

Project Management & Client Services

Identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Lead field projects and manage subcontractor field crews.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the field of environmental engineering, site assessment, or remediation.

Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with Washington and/or Oregon environmental regulations is highly desirable.

Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one is strongly desired.

The pay range for this position in Washington or Oregon is $120,000 to $150,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
