Project Engineering Manager (Nuclear Power Plant)

Client has an immediate need for a Project Engineering Manager at the Fermi Nuclear Power Plant in Newport, MI. The candidate will serve as a liaison with the client and a team of Engineers and Designers, supporting modification packages at a nuclear plant.

Newport, Monroe County, MI (Relocation package available)

Employment Type:

Must Haves:

Nuclear experience in a US operating plant

PE license required

US or PR

Passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam

Qualifications:

BS Engineering Degree with coursework in energy conversion and power systems

PE License in any State (ability to be licensed in others by Comity)

Experience working in a US nuclear power plant

Knowledge of Nuclear Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-001)

Responsibilities:

Act as primary Project Engineering Manager representative, liaising between the client and engineering team

Provide engineering management and guidance to staff

Plan and manage work activities to ensure project success, safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence

Supervise and delegate tasks, monitor activities, and proactively identify issues or opportunities

Support formal status reporting and presentations to clients and management
