We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in equipment installation and commissioning within heavy industrial environments. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale capital projects ranging from $10M to $80M, including greenfield developments, from initial planning through execution and closeout. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and project controls to ensure successful delivery of complex industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, and manage capital projects involving equipment installation, facility construction, and system integration.

  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

  • Manage greenfield and brownfield projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align project objectives and execution plans.

  • Lead site preparation, utilities planning, equipment installation, startup, and performance testing activities.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports.

  • Ensure all project work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Drive resolution of technical or logistical issues impacting project performance.

  • Manage RFPs, contract negotiations, and procurement activities for capital equipment and services.

  • Monitor project performance metrics and report to senior leadership on progress and key milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience managing capital projects in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or process industries.

  • Demonstrated success leading projects with budgets ranging from $10M to $80M, including greenfield developments.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial systems, equipment installation, and utility integration.

  • Experience with commissioning/startup of large-scale mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • PMP certification is but not required.
