We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in equipment installation and commissioning within heavy industrial environments. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale capital projects ranging from $10M to $80M, including greenfield developments, from initial planning through execution and closeout. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and project controls to ensure successful delivery of complex industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, lead, and manage capital projects involving equipment installation, facility construction, and system integration.

Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

Manage greenfield and brownfield projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.

Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align project objectives and execution plans.

Lead site preparation, utilities planning, equipment installation, startup, and performance testing activities.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports.

Ensure all project work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Drive resolution of technical or logistical issues impacting project performance.

Manage RFPs, contract negotiations, and procurement activities for capital equipment and services.

Monitor project performance metrics and report to senior leadership on progress and key milestones.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.

5+ years of experience managing capital projects in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or process industries.

Demonstrated success leading projects with budgets ranging from $10M to $80M, including greenfield developments.

Strong knowledge of industrial systems, equipment installation, and utility integration.

Experience with commissioning/startup of large-scale mechanical and electrical systems.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

PMP certification is but not required.
