Contract Project Engineering Manager\n\nLocation: Manchester (Hybrid, min. 3 days/week)\n Rate: £65/hour | Outside IR35\n Sector: Infrastructure - Nuclear, Water, Transport\n\nThe Role\n\nWe're hiring an experienced Project Engineering Manager on a contract basis to lead multi-disciplinary design delivery on major UK infrastructure projects in regulated sectors.\n\nKey Duties\n\nManage engineering design through all project stages\n\nLead multi-discipline teams and coordinate delivery\n\nEnsure safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are met\n\nLiaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams\n\nSupport proposals, governance, and risk management\n\nRequirements\n\nStrong experience in complex, regulated infrastructure projects\n\nClient-facing leadership and team coordination skills\n\nDegree in Engineering (essential)\n\nSC clearance eligible\n\nChartered Engineer / APM (desirable)
