Project Engineer\nLocation: Selby, North Yorkshire\nSalary: £50000 - £52500 plus benefits\nHours: Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.30\n\nWe’re supporting a growing manufacturing business in the search for a Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering site-based engineering projects. This is a varied position where you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, supporting the ongoing development of the facility.\n\nReporting to the Projects Manager, you’ll be a driven and organised engineer with strong project management experience and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.\n\nThe Role\n\nTake ownership of the full project lifecycle from design through to delivery, commissioning and handover\nProduce and manage project documentation including design packs, drawings and risk assessments\nCoordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams across engineering and operations\nAct as the main point of contact for site project activity, managing stakeholders and leading project meetings\nSurvey site conditions and develop practical design solutions, overseeing installation and commissioning\nMaintain and update plant drawings and process documentation\nIdentify and implement improvements to plant safety, efficiency and reliability\nSupport general engineering activities across a busy and expanding production site\nContribute to site safety, health and environmental objectives\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nDegree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering (or similar discipline)\nStrong project management experience within a manufacturing or process environment\nProficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D)\nWorking knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and DSEAR\nExperience with process pipework and plant design\nStrong attention to detail with drawing control and revision management\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nHands-on, proactive and adaptable approach\nExperience with Inventor would be advantageous\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n40-hour working week, Monday to Friday\n33 days holiday including bank holidays\nGenerous pension scheme\nPrivate healthcare\nLife assurance
