Reed recruitments are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a global manufacturer in South Wales. This role will support the introduction and continuous improvement of electronic products within a high-performance manufacturing environment. The role involves developing a strong understanding of product functionality, production processes, and technical problem-solving, while working closely with internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities Product & Project Delivery Manage project timelines and ensure successful product introduction into manufacturing. Support product design progression from prototype to mass production. Contribute to manufacturing strategies and Design for Manufacture initiatives. Technical Support Identify quality issues and conduct root-cause investigations. Perform technical evaluations and produce clear, structured reports. Diagnose faults to component level to resolve production and market issues. Data & Process Improvement Analyse production and test data using tools such as SPC and Six Sigma. Drive continuous improvement across production and engineering teams. Communication & Collaboration Provide technical support and clear communication to customers and stakeholders.
