We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, Test Integration to join the team with Mb Solutions, a teammate company.
Role Overview
The VIPER project is seeking a Project Engineer to support test integration activities associated with vehicle and subsystem testbeds, with an initial focus on emulator-based testing in coordination with external partners. This role will support definition, planning, and execution of test activities that enable verification of vehicle-level and subsystem-level objectives.
The selected engineer will play a key role in translating test intent into executable plans, aligning stakeholders on approach, and driving execution through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Test Integration Meetings (TIMs) and follow-on execution activities, including coordination with external partners
- Define and align on test objectives for vehicle and subsystem testbeds
- Identify required hardware emulation testbeds and assess adequacy of existing assets
- Define testbed configurations necessary to meet agreed test objectives
- Develop and execute test plans based on outcomes of integration and planning forums
- Coordinate across project engineering, test engineering, and partner organizations to ensure alignment and readiness
- Track action items, risks, and dependencies associated with test execution
Requisition Qualifications:

- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Experience in project engineering, test integration, or systems engineering on complex hardware programs
- Familiarity with hardware testbeds, emulators, or system-level testing
- Ability to translate high-level test objectives into executable plans
- Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working in structured program environments with external partners.
Requisition Preferences:
- Prior experience supporting flight or flight-like test programs
- Previous experience supporting the VIPER project or closely related lunar surface systems
- Familiarity with NASA project environments or large aerospace programs
- Experience participating in or leading formal technical interchange meetings (TIMs)
- Understanding of test configuration management and test readiness processes
