Our passion for our craft fuels every project we touch.JOB OVERVIEWDo you have at least 2 years of work experience in aviation?Do you enjoy developing design drawings?The Engineering Department is a Transport Canada Design Approval Organization that supports many internal and external modification and repair design requests by creating the appropriate data as necessary. The qualified individual will be responsible for interior modifications, structural support of avionics installations and structural modifications.NOTE: this is not an aircraft mechanic role.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop structural analysisDevelop design drawingsProvide on-aircraft support of KF Aerospace and 3rd party designed modificationsDevelop substantiation and certification documents for demonstrating compliance to the appropriate regulationsLiaise with Transport Canada and other approval authorities for design approvalManage resources to achieve assigned project goalsREQUIREMENTS Completion of an Aerospace Engineering Degree combined with 2-5 years of relevant experience OR a minimum of 10 years of relevant experienceProven ability to meet project deadlinesAble to work independently and as a team member in an office environmentStrong communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsComputer experience necessary (Microsoft Office and CAD)BENEFITSFull-Time staff benefits include (but are not limited to):Health and DentalShort & Long-Term DisabilityLife InsuranceHealth Spending AccountPersonal (Wellness) Spending AccountPaid vacation and Personal time offThe opportunity to bank overtimePension matching plan and voluntary RRSPEmployee & Family Assistance ProgramFree financial adviceA bonus program based on organizational performance
