We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical systems across a variety of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Compensation:
$90,000 - $110,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for industrial construction projects.
- Provide engineering design and technical support for industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and energy efficiency.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, plans, and specifications.
- Review contractor RFIs, submittals, and provide technical review of project documents.
- Collaborate with client architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Coordinate directly with CAD technicians and field members to provide reliable design support.
- Conduct site inspections and provide support throughout the construction phase.
- Ensure all mechanical designs and installations meet applicable building codes and regulations.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
- This role supports sales in quoting, design development, and customer interactions.
- Willingness to perform other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree ).
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly .
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
- Specific experience with ammonia refrigeration systems in industrial or cold storage environments is highly desired.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.
- Solid understanding of building systems and construction processes.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
