We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our commercial Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a design-build environment, gaining hands-on experience in project coordination, estimating, scheduling, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities

Support internal teams across engineering, purchasing, construction, and accounting departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Coordinate procurement of materials, delivery timelines, and field installation processes.

Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation, including RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, daily reports, and procurement logs.

Track labor hours, material usage, and project costs, updating progress reports for management.

Attend kick-off, progress, and subcontractor coordination meetings, providing clear communication across teams.

Conduct site visits to assess installation progress, identify and resolve field challenges, and ensure alignment with design intent.

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with subcontractors, clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Participate in ongoing efforts to improve internal processes, workflows, and project delivery.
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
-
Minimum 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project engineering, preferably within MEP construction or design-build environments.
Skills:
-
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with AutoCAD and Bid Tracer is a plus.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:

Ability to travel to job sites in the local region.

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Capable of performing physical site inspections, including climbing ladders and navigating active job sites.
