Project Engineer – Construction
Location: Reno, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time | Onsite
Compensation: $110,000 (DOE) + exceptional benefits

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Project Engineer who wants to be part of a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is someone who embraces responsibility, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Construction experience is , but what matters most is a strong work ethic, dependability, and a willingness to learn.
Experience in Earthwork/Horizontal Construction and/or HCSS is considered a plus, not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities

Support Project Managers with daily project coordination, scheduling, and documentation

Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and report tracking

Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution

Maintain project logs, documentation, and quality control tracking

Attend site meetings, walkthroughs, and assist with jobsite support as needed

Provide project reporting, cost tracking, and administrative support
Qualifications
-
1–3 years of experience in construction (civil, commercial, residential, or related field)

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work onsite, collaborate with field teams, and manage fast-paced workloads

Proficient in Excel and document control

Earthwork or Heavy Civil construction experience – but not required

Experience with HCSS, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software – but not required
