Position Summary - Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a solid foundation in mechanical design, SolidWorks, and CAD modeling, and a working knowledge of structural steel manufacturing and fabrication. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who understands ASME, ISO, and AWS welding standards and can balance technical precision with project leadership. This position involves guiding designs from concept through production, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural steel vessels and mechanical assemblies, integrating mechanical, piping, and structural requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical drawings, 3D models, and fabrication packages to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing.
• Apply metal fabrication and welding standards to meet quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and designers in developing technical and project management skills.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, and project management teams to meet schedule, cost, and performance targets.
• Lead design reviews, technical presentations, and client discussions to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD (2D & 3D design).
• Hands-on experience in structural steel manufacturing and welding practices.
• Working knowledge of ASME, ISO, and AWS welding codes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage details, solve problems, and drive technical excellence.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in project engineering within manufacturing focused on Product Development.

Customer-facing experience leading design reviews and technical discussions.
