Job Description
Project Engineer – Mechanical or Electrical\nHinkley Point C, Somerset (Based on site)\nFull Time, Permanent\n9-day fortnight (Every other friday off as standard)\n£60,000- £70,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Travel and accommodation allowances for those travelling further afield\nBenefits include: 25 days holiday + Banks, Enhanced Pension Contributions.\nAdeptus are proud to be partnered with a tier 1 engineering services provider who are part of the exciting Hinkley Point C nuclear power station build. They are currently looking to add a project engineers to their team on a full time, permanent basis.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking Project Engineers (Mechanical or Electrical bias) to deliver complex packages of work within a highly regulated nuclear environment.\nThis role is suited to candidates with:\n * Mechanical background (HVAC, pipework, drainage, heating & cooling, nuclear mechanical plant)\n OR\n * Electrical background (power distribution, cable management, electrical installation, nuclear electrical systems)\nYou will take responsibility for safe, compliant, on-time, on-budget delivery of assigned project packages while working closely with Project Managers, QS, QA, site teams and subcontractors.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n * Proven experience delivering projects in nuclear or highly regulated sectors (defence, energy, rail, petrochemical, etc.)\n * Strong programme, cost and risk management capability\n * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams\n * Knowledge of nuclear safety culture & quality standards\nDesirable:\n * HNC/ONC or equivalent engineering qualification\n * Working towards APM PMQ (or similar)\n * Experience within large-scale EPC projects\nWhy Join?\n * Long-term programme stability\n * Exposure to nuclear-grade systems and standards\n * Work on one of Europe’s most significant infrastructure projects\n * Excellent career development & progression\n * 9-day fortnight working pattern\nIf you have nuclear, defence or large-scale industrial project experience and want to contribute to a landmark UK energy project, we want to hear from you
