We are currently seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join our project team in Brooklyn. We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, and excellent work culture. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the project, delivering exceptional results, and maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry
  • Hands-on experience with both concrete and steel structures
  • Knowledge of excavation, foundation work, and piping systems
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.)
  • Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD / MS Project is
  • OSHA 30-hr certification at a minimum
  • HAZWOPER and SST Worker 40-hr certifications
  • Desire to work in a field environment with client personnel and construction crews
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams


    Responsibilities:

    • Day-to-day interaction with subcontractors during their field operations and clients field representatives
    • Prepare and submit daily reports
    • Track quantities and hours for field activities
    • Monitor the progress of field construction activities to assure compliance with project plans and specifications
    • Assist in preparing and submitting look ahead schedules
    • RFIs including preparing, submitting, and tracking
    • Order daily construction supplies, maintain field purchase log and process change orders
    • Obtain and manage road closure permits and maintain a permit log
    • Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, safety meetings, and safety trainings
    • Track equipment and materials
