Job Description

We're looking for a team of Project Engineers (AC) to join our client specialists in commercial and utility-scale PV projects. You will take ownership for the full AC engineering scope to deliver high-quality designs that meet the highest technical standards.


In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering all AC-related engineering designs and documentation for our PV installations. Your focus will be ensuring compliance with grid codes, safety requirements, and project timelines.


Location: Munich or Berlin

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: 3 days on-site | Hybrid

: German and English (C1)


Your Responsibilities:


  • Conducting on-site technical assessments to determine AC requirements
  • Designing MV/LV AC systems, including single-line diagrams and layout plans
  • Preparing comprehensive Bills of Materials (transformers, switchgear, cabling, protection, metering, etc.)
  • Defining protection, switching, and metering concepts aligned with DNO/TSO guidelines
  • Coordinating technical interfaces with suppliers and partners (inverters, EMS, BESS, metering)
  • Supporting installation and commissioning teams on-site
  • Troubleshooting design issues and driving structured root-cause analysis
  • Delivering complete AC engineering documentation ahead of construction and COD


Your Profile:


  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering )
  • 2–5 years’ experience in C&I or utility-scale PV projects
  • Proven skills in MV/LV PV system design (VDE 4105 / 4110)
  • Experience with BESS or EMS integrations
  • Strong interface management across engineering, construction, and suppliers
  • Proficiency with AC design tools (EPlan, AutoCAD, or comparable)
  • Deep understanding of grid integration, VDE standards, and PV best practices
  • EU driving license
  • German and English at C1 level
