Project Engineer in Leiston

NRL is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer on Sizewell B on permanent opportunity.
Role- Project Engineer
Salary- £62,000 per annum
Location- Leiston, Suffolk
Key responsibilities will be:
Producing and maintaining engineering documentation including quality plans and technical specifications
Management of technical queries in accordance with relevant processes and procedures
Supporting the process of contractor selection and contract placement
Technical reviews of contractor documents and drawings and carrying out technical appraisals of project options
Performing feasibility studies, site surveys and liaison with designers and station engineering staff as requiredQualifications
Typically, Chartered Engineer or HND
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification
Candidates that hold a formal project management qualification and are versed in modern project management techniques but not essential
Experience of Identifying, implementing, and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
Experience of software CadMech, Auto Cad (Mechanical)
Creating 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components
Designing machines, tools, fixtures, or assemblies
Producing technical drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and materials
Working with mechanical standards (GD&T, ISO, ASME, etc.)
Knowledge and experience of delivering construction projects under CDM
Ideally experience in managing and delivering electrical power systems design and installation projects; for example, prior experience in working with the grid and/or electrical supply and distribution systems
