If the answer is yes then please read on...\n\n Our client is a well-established engineering business seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. This is an office-based role, commutable to Leicester.\n \nThe Role - Project Engineer:\n The Project Engineer will oversee installation-based engineering projects, acting as the key point of contact for customers.
You will manage projects from initial concept through to installation and completion, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.\n Key Responsibilities include:\n \nCustomer & Project Management: Manage projects from order through to delivery, acting as the main liaison between customers and internal teams. \nTechnical Support: Produce and amend 2D CAD layout drawings and assist in resolving technical or installation-related queries. \nLogistics & Installation Coordination: Organise delivery schedules, coordinate installation teams, and ensure all required equipment and materials are in place.
\nDesign & Development: Support design updates, testing phases, and product rollout, including consideration of materials and stock. \nContinuous Improvement & Innovation: Assist in the development of new products and improvements to existing solutions. Key Candidate Requirements - Project Engineer:\n \nExperience in a project coordinator role or similar within an engineering, manufacturing environment \nAbility to read and/or edit 2D CAD drawings \nExperience communicating with external customers \nProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems \nFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicle \nInterest in or understanding of engineering principles \nAmbitious and keen to develop a technical skillset \nStrong IT skills, particularly Excel (including formulas) \nConfident communicator, able to liaise with both customers and operational teams Salary / Package:\n \nCompetitive starting salary (dependent on experience) \nCompany Holidays & Pension Scheme \nMonday-Thursday day shifts, with early finish on a Friday \nCareer Progression: Opportunity to progress into Product Management Interested?\n To apply for this Project Engineer position, you have two options:\n \n"This is the job for me!
