PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Permanent Project Engineer in Kent. This will be working for a reputable contractor who work with in the Civils industry. They are looking for an experienced individual to work on their water projects within Kent. Please see more info below! JOB SUMMARY The Project Engineer provides detailed technical input to ensure all permanent and temporary works are safe, compliant, and meet specification before implementation. The role ensures subcontractor and off-site activities meet required standards, promotes a strong safety culture with zero tolerance for unsafe practices, and supports successful project delivery. JOB CONTENT Key Responsibilities Promote safety targets and a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices. Implement site systems and controls in line with company and project standards, including quality systems. Prepare and communicate risk assessments and method statements. Resolve technical issues with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities. Support the Commercial Manager/QS with variation orders and site instructions. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams; attend progress meetings. Produce ITPs and oversee site quality control, including managing non-conformance reports. Ensure traceability and compliance with specifications and self-certification requirements. Maintain accurate site records relating to activities, design, and programme. Manage contract close-out, QA documentation, and Health & Safety File/O&M Manual preparation. Identify and coordinate temporary works requirements and design briefs. Supervise and support Site, Graduate, and Assistant Engineers. Coordinate with commercial and procurement teams to ensure specified requirements are met. Secure materials and plant to meet programme and specification. Review technical services, products, and subcontracts. Ensure contract compliance and notify the client of out-of-scope works (EWN/NCE). Undertake additional duties as required.
