Project Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

Job DescriptionOur Client is a company based in Singapore as the regional headquarters for global shipping and logistics services. They are currently looking for a Project Engineer who is enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated.【 What you will be doing 】- Project management.- Attend and oversee site project(s) as the main site engineer representing our company.- General engineering operation supports and establishes relationships with clients.- Sales of logistics systems like belt conveyors and other logistic systems.- Trading and purchasing ship store items etc.- Supply of materials handling equipment/ ship chandelling supplies to the customer.- On-site troubleshooting with clients’ sites and dealing with customer feedback.- Commute to PSA port for shipping documentation submission.- Update management frequently on project(s) development.- Submit weekly report(s) in-parallel with ongoing project(s).- Forecast logistics shipment on stock projection.- Warehouse inventory control and management.- Able to commit overtime when rushing for project(s) handover or when required.- Other ad-hoc duties when required by management.QualificationsRequirement【 What they are looking for 】(Must)- Related work experience in the machinery, logistics or shipping industry is required- Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 and above) Listening/Writing/Speaking is essential to liaise with Japanese stakeholders- Possess Class 3 driving license(Preference)- An additional Forklift license is an advantage (The company will sponsor a forklift license course if the candidate doesn't possess the license).- Experience in lift engineering- Experience in handling forklifts and lifting.- Knowledge of WSHE compliance rules and regulations.English Level-Other Language-Additional InformationBenefit【 What they are offering 】- Annual Leave: 17 days- Medical Leave- Medical Benefits- Work-life Balance- Engaging EnvironmentWorking Hour9:00 ~ 17:00Holiday-Job Function
