Job Title: Project Engineer III
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)
Contract Duration: ~6 months
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Job Description

Experienced individual contributor role focused on supporting engineering project execution for industrial water treatment systems from concept through installation, with involvement in design, procurement, fabrication, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined portions of engineering project scope across industrial system projects
• Prepare engineering deliverables including equipment specifications, data sheets, layouts, pipe class documents, and BOMs
• Review vendor drawings, equipment selections, and technical submittals for compliance
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and third-party consultants
• Support procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup activities by resolving technical issues
• Participate in BIM/model coordination, layout reviews, and clash resolution
• Maintain accurate project documentation in engineering systems
• Apply engineering standards, procedures, and safety requirements
• Review specifications and contract documents to define project requirements
• Perform calculations and support engineering design outputs while meeting project schedules
• Prepare parts lists and technical specification sheets

Required Skills

• Equipment sizing and specification (pumps, valves, pressure vessels, etc.)
• Knowledge of water treatment systems (filtration, membrane, ion exchange, reclaim water)
• MS Office proficiency

Skills

• Experience in water treatment or semiconductor wafer fab environments (UPW/WWT)
• Exposure to AutoCAD and piping/skid design

Education / Experience

• B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering OR equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
