Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineering (HVAC) professional to support mechanical utility and environmental systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement across critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and provide technical support for assigned mechanical utility and environmental systems, including HVAC, chilled water, glycol, exhaust systems, and controlled environmental rooms.
- Deliver engineering support for daily operations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting efforts to maintain system performance, reliability, and state of control.
- Lead and support both capital and expense projects from initial scope development through execution and final turnover.
- Develop, review, and approve engineering documentation such as P&IDs, technical specifications, calculations, and commissioning protocols.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Operations, EHS, and Quality teams to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute work.
- Support commissioning, qualification, and performance verification activities for new and modified systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Identify and implement improvements focused on system reliability, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
- Utilize and support Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to monitor and manage system performance.
- Author and execute change control documentation in accordance with established quality and regulatory requirements.
Skills: Project Engineer, HVAC, GMP, Capital Project (MUST)
Plus: Familiarity with other clean utilities (i.e clean steam, process gases)
