Project Engineer, Hull Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a leading business in the leisure vehicle sector to recruit a Project Engineer. This is a hands-on design and technical role, working to deliver innovative, practical, and robust engineering solutions. As the Project Engineer: You will work closely with the Engineering Group to support the creation of new designs and updates to existing products. Using engineering tools such as CAD, FEA, D-FMEA, and risk analysis, you’ll produce highly detailed designs, specifications, and technical data that minimise risk and maximise performance. You’ll liaise with suppliers, test facilities, customers, and legislative bodies to ensure all products meet strict standards for cost, weight, quality, safety, and functionality. Key responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality technical solutions from concept to production Creating detailed CAD models, drawings, and supporting documentation Specifying components, materials, and systems accurately Preparing BOMs, outsourced part specifications, layouts, and test plans Supporting internal teams and external suppliers with technical guidance Ensuring compliance with legislation, type approval, and company processes Continuous improvement of engineering processes and operational efficiency I'm looking to speak to Project Engineers with: Engineering degree (minimum) with at least 5 years’ experience in a technical/design role Strong experience in design within automotive, caravan, or related industries Experienced with 3D CAD (Pro-Engineer or similar) and engineering tools Knowledge of materials, tooling, and product construction practices Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and liaise with suppliers Strong verbal and written communication skills Flexible, adaptable, and innovative with a solutions-focused mindset
