Role Overview\n An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of MEICA projects across the UK. Working closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and site personnel, the role involves overseeing engineering activities from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and project completion.\n\nThis is a permanent role, contract cannot be considered at this time. \n\nCandidates must have a UK Driving Licence and full RTW in the UK, sponsorship cannot be offered. \n\n Key Responsibilities\n Project Delivery & Coordination\n \nSupport the delivery of projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring agreed objectives, budgets, and programme requirements are achieved. \nAssist project teams throughout pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.

\nCoordinate site activities and provide technical support to operatives, subcontractors, and client representatives. \nMonitor project progress and help maintain effective communication between all stakeholders. \nLiaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other external parties as required.

Commercial & Procurement Support\n \nAssist with budget preparation and cost management activities. \nRaise purchase orders and coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and plant within approved budgets. \nRespond to technical queries during tendering and procurement stages.

\nSupport the assessment and selection of subcontractors where required. \nEnsure engineering and procurement activities remain aligned with contractual obligations. Quality, Compliance & Documentation\n \nMaintain accurate site records and project documentation.

\nCollate information for health and safety files and project handover documentation. \nApply quality assurance processes to ensure works meet required specifications and standards. \nRemain informed of current legislation, industry standards, and construction best practices.

\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement across project activities. Stakeholder Engagement\n \nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with clients and project partners. \nRepresent the company professionally at all times and contribute to maintaining its reputation within the industry.

\nCommitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. \nStrong organisational and coordination skills. Experience\n \nMinimum of five years' experience in a senior engineering or project engineering role within the Water and Wastewater sector.

\nProven involvement in the delivery of projects typically valued between £500k and £5m. \nDemonstrable experience supporting project delivery within a regulated utility or infrastructure environment.   \n Qualifications\n \nQualification in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
