Job Title: Project Engineer

One of our clients, a well-established, local construction company in Honolulu, is seeking a motivated Project Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to contribute to high-quality, innovative projects across the island.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues on-site
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project requirements
• Assist in procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Provide technical support and solutions throughout the construction process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering or construction management
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Local knowledge of Hawaiian construction standards and practices is a plus
