Project Engineer - Heavy Civil in , us

Metric Geo are working with a large and reputable contractor who are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage projects from buyout through closeout. This role supports project planning, field operations, and contract compliance while ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

Key Responsibilities:
Support monthly billings, cash flow tracking, and change order processing.
Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and contract specifications.
Monitor subcontractor compliance and coordinate with QA/QC teams.
Ensure completed work meets codes, drawings, and specifications.
Identify critical work items, procure long-lead materials, and schedule deliveries.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10+ years of heavy civil construction experience, including projects >$100M.
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar software. xsgimln
