ABOUT
The AIS Infrastructure Group consists of four civil/vertical construction companies. Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, vertical construction, and site development for government and private clients across the United States.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and support in planning, design, and execution of construction and industrial services projects. This role ensures the successful implementation of AIS Infrastructure's projects, requiring strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management. Adherence to safety standards and protocols is essential.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in developing and implementing project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.
Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to meet project requirements.
Monitor and inspect construction activities for compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for access to secured facilities, including military bases.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
Deep knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.
Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong communication skills to convey complex engineering concepts effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
TRAVEL
Occasional travel required.
