Job Description

Project Engineer – Automation & Special Purpose Equipment\n\nCheltenham\n\n£45,000 – £52,000 per annum + Benefits\n\nPermanent Position\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a background in automation and special purpose equipment, ideally within FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Automotive environments.\n\nYou will take full ownership of assigned projects, acting as the main point of contact for customers and suppliers, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage projects from order to completion\n\nLiaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams (Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, Installation)\n\nChair project review meetings and attend customer and supplier sites\n\nMaintain financial control and support project reporting\n\nSupport sales, proposals, and planning activities\n\nEnsure compliance with health & safety, CE marking, and current legislation\n\nEnsure equipment meets customer and regulatory requirements\n\nAbout You\n\nExperience delivering automation or special purpose equipment projects\n\nBackground in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Automotive sectors\n\nStrong communication, project management, and commercial awareness\n\nFor more information, contact Rory McStay
