Key Responsibilities:
-
Interpret blueprints and specifications to support bid development
-
Perform quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff software
-
Assist in bid preparation in accordance with estimating policies and procedures
-
Attend scope review meetings with Estimators to gain client-facing experience
-
Develop written estimates using labor, material, and equipment cost data
-
Participate actively in training and development programs
-
Gain familiarity with:

Project folder and field documentation
-
Cost control and accounting systems
-
Local, city, and state building codes
-
Field construction methods
-
Company products and services (e.g., drywall, acoustical ceilings)

Marketing and business development strategies
-

Support proposal development and client presentations
-
Assist Business Development Manager with marketing and closings

Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting
