CPH has an opening in our Jacksonville, Florida office for the following position:

Project Engineer (EIT/EI) - Land Development and/or Environmental

Hiring Bonus of up to $1,000 for selected candidate!

CPH is seeking a Project Engineer (EIT/EI) with an interest in designing Land Development and/or Water/Wastewater projects.

Duties Include

Working under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer as part of a team in the design and preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations, and construction documents.

Preparation of accurate presentation, design, details, and construction documents.

Preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to agencies with jurisdiction.

Coordination with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Periodic travel for site investigations and construction observation.

Preparation of specifications, shop drawing reviews, field observations, and inspection reports.

Collaboration with other engineers, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.

Research, interpretation, and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.

Utilization of CPH and client standards and templates.

Review of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control.

Development and management of project scope, schedules, and budgets.

Client management and account programs.

Requirements

B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited institution.

EI/EIT certification or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire.

Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Critical thinking and independent judgment skills.

Experience or education in stormwater management, water distribution, and sanitary sewer systems.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Flexibility to meet project deadlines.

Detail-oriented, reliable, self-motivated.

Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
